About the Product

NWRT-91 has been developed as a dual purpose product, it will add any desired colour to masonry and repel's water from significantly penetrating the vertical masonry surface, this is done with a one step application process. NWRT-91 repels water and protects the masonry against deterioration caused by air borne chemicals including acid rain. NWRT-91 will allow moisture vapours to escape and therefore will not promote spalling or similar failure due to moisture trapped in the wall.

Environmental and Safety Concerns

NWRT-91 is environmentally friendly, water based, non-flammable and complies with VOC and other appropriate Government safety standards, legislation and regulatory requirements, spatter or spills can be easily cleaned with water.

Application Precautions

1. Verify that walls, masonry, concrete, stucco, block - splitfaced/fluted and mortar that have been treated with any form of chemical/acid wash are neutralized.
2. Verify that masonry, concrete, stucco, block - splitfaced/fluted and mortar units in existing building are structurally sound and fully intact.
3. Before application ascertain that the masonry walls have a neutral ph level or all warranties are void.
4. Alkali or efflorescence should be treated with proper neutralizing compounds as recommended by masonry supplier before application can begin.
5. Application of NWRT-91 is possible in temperatures of 30oF to 110oF . Masonry surfaces ideally should be dry before work begins.
6. NWRT-91 can be applied by two methods either a labour intensive process involving hand application ensuring a precise application of color and artistry to each and every individual unit or by spray application when complete coverage is desired.
