About the Product

NUBW-66 has been formulated as a water based repellant for use on average porosity masonry. NUBW-66 will significantly reduce the water penetration that can cause unsightly appearances and costly repairs. NUBW-66 will allow moisture vapours to escape and therefore will not promote spalling or similar failure due to moisture trapped in the wall.

Environmental and Safety Concerns

NUBW-66 is a water based repellant that has a low volatile organic content of less than 175 grams per litre (after mixing). This product meets or exceeds VOC and other appropriate Government safety standards, legislation and regulatory requirements. NUBW-66 is user friendly and irritation due to skin or eye contact is minimal.

Application Precautions

1. A small area should be tested before starting general application in order to ensure results and coverage requirements.
2. Apply to clean and dry surfaces within a temperature range of 40oF and 110oF.
3. Before application any pointing requires 72 hours dry time and 6-12 hours for caulking and sealant work.
4. Alkali or efflorescence should be treated with proper neutralizing compounds as recommended by masonry supplier before application of this product.
5. This material should be flooded with a minimum 10 inch rundown onto surface to assure maximum saturation onto substrate.
6. Normal coverage will vary depending on the porosity of the substrate. Extremely porous substrate may require two coats.
